Josh Kraft, Nicholas President and CEODear Friends of BGCB,

This holiday season we are grateful for your continued support. These are tough times for all of us, most especially for the kids and families we serve. Yet, I am hopeful for the future. Why? Because of the incredible commitment of BGCB’s community of supporters, volunteers, families, and staff.

As I’ve been saying since the financial crisis hit, this is not the time for us to hold back. We owe it to the kids and families we serve to work harder, to reach out to supporters more often, and to continue to find ways to remain accessible and affordable to kids and families, despite economic conditions.

It will take greater effort, creative thinking, and more than a bit of sacrifice, but the families that we serve have no one else to turn to during tough times, and we owe it to them to be there, doors open, lights on, every day.

So as we prepare to spend time with our families this holiday season, we want to thank you for being part of the BGCB family.

On behalf of all of us at BGCB, happy holidays and peace in the new year.
