We are currently recruiting for positions to work at Camp Harbor View located on Long Island, MA. Long Island is situated in Quincy Bay, in the middle of Boston Harbor. The island forms part of the City of Boston, and of the Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area. The day camp serves campers aged 11 – 14 years. This is a seasonal program from June 14th – August 20th.
SOCIAL WORKER POSTED: 03/05/2010

Summary of Position:
Major responsibility is to serve as a resource within the camp, providing a variety of social services and referrals to campers and their families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Advocate for and provide services, including short, medium, and long term goal oriented individual and family ongoing support, crisis intervention, conflict resolution and mediation.

Summary of Position:
The major responsibility of the Seasonal Aquatics Director is to, in conjunction with department staff, provide a variety of programming options reflective of the BGCB Aquatics Program. The Director will also run individual programs, activities, trips, etc. Individual responsibilities include, but not limited to, oversight of developmental games, swimming lessons, skill development activities and water safety
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The major responsibility of the Challenge Course Instructor is to develop and implement a challenge course program that is based on sound educational principals, offers a progression of skills, and is based on the interests and abilities of campers.
