A new owater label celebrates the inspiring story of Blue Hill Club Berkshire Partners Executive Director Scott McLellan and three Club members who learn life lessons on the Club’s basketball court.
Owater, a healthy sports drink company founded in 2004 by Tom First (co-founder of Nantucket Nectars), got its start through product sampling at road races, triathlons, health food stores, yoga studios, etc. across the country and connecting with inspiring people along the way.
One day last year, Tom and owater PR Director Amy Mueller took a tour of Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston’s Blue Hill Club in Dorchester and met Scott McLellan, the Club’s Berkshire Partners Executive Director. Tom and Amy began support of BGCB by donating water for events. Their next time at the Club, they met three Club members who look up to Scott as a role model. Out of that visit, a new owater label was created to celebrate their story.
