The Yawkey Club of Roxbury's 100th anniversary logo was designed by Club member Chelsea Lindsey, age 14. Read her biography here.

For 100 years, the Yawkey Club of Roxbury, originally known as the Roxbury Boys' Club, has served as a beacon of hope in the Roxbury community. Since 1910, thousands of youth have grown into responsible citizens and leaders thanks to the Club's unique and fun programming.

There will be numerous ways to get involved in the Club's historical year-long Centennial Celebration. You can learn more about upcoming events, alumni engagement opportunities, ways to support the Club's mission, or a brief history of the Club, simply by clicking on the photo thumbnails above.

We hope you will take a few minutes to read our Case for Giving Executive Summary and learn how you can be part of sustaining our Club by supporting the Centennial Campaign.

Fred Fairfield, Chair of the Club’s Advisory Board said, “The Club is as essential a part of this vibrant community today as it was when I was a Club kid from 1945-1959. It’s a precious resource for hard-working families, a gathering place for community leaders, and a safe haven for our community’s young people. We have a responsibility to ensure that the Club is here to serve youth for the next 100 years.”
