Charlestown Club's Annual Battle of Bunker Hill Road Race (April)
This fun, family event takes place on Bunker Hill Day in Charlestown before the Bunker Hill Day Parade. Celebrating its 40th year in 2008, the 8K road race—a USAT&F certified course—is a scenic route passing historic sites including the Bunker Hill Monument, the USS Constitution and the Warren Tavern. There was also a 2-mile novice race run by many children and parent/child teams.
