BGCB’s Summer Program serves youth ages 6 to 18, with separate programs for teens and for younger children. All programs are designed to keep young people off the streets, to educate them during the non-school months, and to provide recreational experiences to which they might not otherwise have access. BGCB camps comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and are licensed by the local board of health. In 2009, the summer program at BGCB served 3,475 youth, including providing employment for 253 teens.

Dates: July 6-August 20, 2010 (Three 2-week sessions, and one 1-week session)
Session 1: July 6-16 | Deadline: June 18 | Theme: Around the World & Mad Scientist
Session 2: July 19-30 | Deadline: June 18| Eco Explorers and Sports Week
Session 3: Aug 2-13 | Deadline: July 16| Water Works & Da Vinci
Session 4: August 16-20 | Deadline: July 16 | Camp Olympics
Camp Hours:
Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
*Before care at 8 a.m. – 9 a.m.
*Aftercare from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Application Fee:
- 2 week sessions = $150 per child
- 1 week session = $75 per child (only applies to last week of camp)
- Pre-Camp = $25 per session per child
- After-Camp =$25 per session per child
- Summer Camp ONLY Membership Fee =$25 (if your child is not currently a Blue Hill Club member)
- Application Fee= $25
Financial Aid is available and you may request an application at orientation.
