Ages served: 1st - 5th graders
Membership Fee: $40 monthly
Program Highlights:
Torch Club: This program supports leadership, character, community and philanthropy. Members will raise funds for the Jimmy Fund and the American Diabetes Association.
TERC: BGCB staff are trained by TERC to improve members' mathematics and science skills. The focus of this program is to teach members about the human body with various themes.
WGBH Time to Invent: Engineering students will work with members using a structured curriculum that inspires youth to explore invention.
Urban Ecology: This program introduces environmental concerns and responsibilities, scientific discoveries, habitats, social issues, theories and solutions to our members. Members will gain academic, creativity and literacy support.
Club Offerings:
Cafeteria, classrooms, gym, handicapped accessible, technology space, outdoor play area, security system.
