Times are tough, no doubt about it
They are tough for us too
And even tougher for the kids we serve
The vast majority of our kids and teens grow up with staggering challenges – economic and educational, social and emotional – and confront a wave of risk factors everyday. In an unsettled economic environment, they rely on the Club to an even greater extent. They rely the Club to provide consistency and caring as well as opportunity. The Keystone Teen Leadership Program is a prime example of the ways in which the Club transforms the lives of kids and teens.
Keystone Teens elect officers and implement activities in six areas: service to Club and community, character and leadership development, education and career exploration, unity, free enterprise and social recreation. Each year, Keystone Teens develop a National Keystone Project, attend specialty workshops and trainings and receive quality mentoring. Many work for the Club and learn valuable life and career skills. For most, it will be their first job.
Our Keystone Teens are off the streets and on the
right track, thanks to good people like you.
