Several members at the Franklin Hill Club were pampered with a leadership and personal development spa day led by two alums of the Obama Administration.
The event was designed to help build positive self-images for participating members and help them themselves as community change agents. The event organizer, Yasmin Rana, is a former White House and Department of Homeland Security appointee in the Obama Administration. Yasmin created the event to give back and teach members that if you work hard you can reach your goals no matter the circumstances.
The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston is to help young people, especially those who need us most, build strong character and realize their full potential as responsible citizens and leaders. We do this by providing a safe haven filled with hope and opportunity, ongoing relationships with caring adults, and life-enhancing programs.
