The Charlestown Club opened in 1893 as the Bunker Hill Boys Club. Renovated in 1999 and 2003, The Charlestown Boys & Girls Club provides afterschool care and a safe place for young people ages 6-18. Members may take part in a wide range of activities, some of which include art, computer graphics, dance, tutoring, swimming, music. The Club has more than 1,100 members with 74% coming from low-income households.
