Attention: Vended Meals Companies
Due to an error in the previous bid process, which concluded in a public bid opening at 11:00am on February 20, 2024, Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is requiring that Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston solicit new bids for vended meals to their Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) program site(s). Questions from the previous question period have been addressed in the bid packet.
The above institution is now soliciting invitations for bid for vended meals to their Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) program At-Risk Afterschool site(s) and their Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) site(s). The Vendor would provide meal services according to United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations and guidelines as well as Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Office for Food and Nutrition Programs policies and guidelines. Our current vendor is CityFresh Foods, who supplies us with suppers and lunch at a rate of $4.25 per unit.
A bid packet will be available by email at gwitham@bgcb.org to all potential bidders by March 13, 2024. Potential bidders should email questions to Gabrielle Witham at gwitham@bgcb.org by April 5th and all questions will be answered in writing only and sent to everyone by April 8, 2024. All bids must be submitted no later than 2:00pm on April 12, 2024.
All bids are subject to review by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Office for Food and Nutrition Programs, 135 Santilli Highway, Everett, MA 02149. The public bid opening will be at 11:00am on April 16, 2024 at 200 High St. Fl. 3, 02110. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
