Support YouthConnect

Clinical social workers connecting at-risk youth to positive choices, in partnership with the Boston Police Department.

YouthConnect is a unique program of BGCB that places licensed clinical social workers directly in Boston police districts that experience high rates of youth crime.

Having operated for more than 25 years, YouthConnect addresses the distinct needs of high-risk Boston youth who are referred by police officers when they are arrested, become involved with other aspects of the criminal justice system, or display worrisome behaviors at home, in school or in the community. By placing social workers in police stations to provide voluntary prevention, intervention, advocacy, and mental health services, YouthConnect works to address the underlying problems and social emotional issues that contribute to juvenile crime and delinquency by working with the entire family, not just the youth. Since 1996, YouthConnect has assisted over 17,000 youth and families across Boston.

Your gift will have a direct impact on the valuable work being done by YouthConnect in the community. On behalf of youth and families throughout Boston, thank you for your kindness and generosity. We could not do this work without you.
