We Are Investing in the Community in Four Key Areas to Address Our Community’s Most Pressing Needs
Closing the Academic Gap
Members will perform at grade level in reading, writing and math. Seniors graduate with a defined, post-Club plan for college or career.
Closing the Life Expectancy Gap
Members will have access to age-specific fitness programs, full-time social workers, mental health, healthy food, and medical resources to support their wellbeing.
Creating Economic Mobility
All pre-teen and teen members will participate in BGCB’s Ready to Work program, by providing job readiness training and real-world experience through paid jobs and internships with leading employers.
Expanding Teen Engagement
Central to our goal of building an urban talent pipeline and preparing the next generation workforce, BGCB is committed to doubling the number of teens we serve (to 3,000 by 2028).
