Established in 1940, the Edgerley Family South Boston Club's race is held the same Sunday as the Southie St. Patrick’s Day Parade, following parts of its route. For 50 years, the Edgerley Family South Boston Club has marked St. Patrick’s Day by coming together. As we celebrate this milestone alongside the 250th anniversary of Evacuation Day, we are returning to our roots and opening our doors once again to the community we serve—right here at the Club where this tradition began.
