Established in 1940, the annual St Patrick's Day 5k race is held on parts of the famous Southie St. Patrick’s Day Parade route. This is a 100% charity race, volunteer-run, with all proceeds benefitting teen programming at the Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Club.
