Virtual Barry’s Bootcamp Fundraiser for BGCB

For the first time in our organization’s nearly 130 year history, Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston has opened its doors to support remote learning for youth across Boston and Chelsea. Club operating hours now span the full day, as we open early to provide hundreds of members access to a quiet space, upgraded Club technology, healthy meals, and supportive educational staff while engaged in remote school.
In addition to this daytime learning support, BGCB offers our traditional enrichment activities like art and music, career exploration, and financial literacy, both in-person and virtually in the afternoon and evening.
In a year of many historic moments, our members are communicating with their teachers from the Clubs and enjoying a sense of normalcy and socially distanced interaction with their peers.
